Ok folks, I am finally updating this blog..
I have been working with this tank for a year now and the 20 gallon has gone through some changes. During the summer I introduced some Ameca Splendens to the tank They are also known as the Butterfly Goodeid. A great little fish that I recommend for everyone. In my acquiring of these live bearers, I have noticed they have an appetite for Hair Algae in the tanks they are in. The males have a great bright yellow tail and just shine in these tanks. They actually have a glitter to them as they dart around the tank. A fish again, that more people should pick up. From what I hear, they are endangered in their home waters. This is very sad.

Here are some pictures of these guys. So enjoy.

Update on tank

Well folks, I have stock in the tank.
1. Male Betta
7. Purple Passion Danios
1. Hill Stream Loach
3. Guppies

I had 2 gold rams before the guppies in the tank but they both did not make it. To my surprise, the Betta bullied them. It is the first I have ever had this problem. Bettas have always been docile for me but not this time. I will update with photos later this weekend.

Ok folks here are some pictures of my 20 gallon tank that I am working on.
I am using a Water Wonder filter that hides completely the filter and heater. I find it to be a really nice setup. For lighting I am using the Coral life T-5 series lights for freshwater. I feel that I get a really nice color from them.
